Story Pitch

Everyone struggles with highschool. It’s such a strange environment, and it takes a lot of adapting to. Mountains of homework, making new friends, finding yourself, it’s a lot for a teen to do by themselves. That’s why this Podcast matters. In this Podcast we want to be like big sisters to all of our listeners, regardless of our age. Still being in highschool supplies us with constant new stories, of which we plan on picking only the very best to share with everyone. This will make our fans want to constantly come back for more. This Podcast is different from the other coverage on these topics because we are three girls that are going through the stage of being an adolescence. We have empathy and can relate on a personal level to our listeners. We want our audience to feel comfortable with us, and we plan on interacting with them through our Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. Us sisters want the audience to send in questions for us to answer in our future episodes.

Us at Big Sister Gossip consider ourselves to be expert advice givers. On a daily basis, we help our friends with their drama and problems. For example, fights with friends, parents, relationships. Besides just giving advice from our hearts, we also want this to be educational for our listeners. In order to make sure the information we give out is factual,  we’ll include as many statistics and articles about the topics we talk about in each episode. We’ve also researched from several different sites on how to give great advice. Some include injecting emotion, keeping it to the point, making it inspirational, the list goes on. We plan to mix that with our own ideas, and create a more valuable discussion for our listeners. Fortunately, us sisters have been taught how to properly story tell in our New Media class, learning the do’s and don’ts of podcasting, along with other useful tools and tips. This gives us an advantage from other podcasters who have not had that opportunity.

We are the right people to be talking about this because we consider ourselves reliable and independent. Us sisters are currently in highschool, therefore have a better understanding about how the school environment can be like. These features will make our audience feel like they can trust us on the advice we share. You’ll get a dose of education, comedy and guidance in each episode. We are the sisters you never knew you needed but always wanted to have. Three girls, three different lives, three different perspectives, that we can’t wait to share with everyone.
